Bhavna Limbachia Opens Up About Apprehension
Coronation Street star Bhavna Limbachia has revealed she is feeling "anxious" as she prepares to return to work on the ITV soap after a two-year break.
The actress, who plays Rana Habeeb on the show, took a break from filming in 2020 to focus on her family. She is now set to reprise her role in the coming weeks.
Limbachia's Concerns
Speaking to Digital Spy, Limbachia admitted that she is feeling apprehensive about returning to work.
"I'm so excited to be back, but I'm also quite anxious," she said. "It's been a long time since I've been on set, and I'm just worried that I'm not going to be as good as I used to be."
Limbachia also said that she is nervous about how her character Rana will be received by viewers after her long absence.
"I'm hoping that people are still interested in Rana and that they're not going to be like, 'Who is this new girl?'" she said.
Rana's Return Storyline
Limbachia remained tight-lipped about what to expect from Rana's return storyline, but she did tease that there will be some "surprises" in store.
"I can't say too much, but I will say that there are some big surprises coming up for Rana," she said.
"I'm really excited to see how people react to it."
Coronation Street airs on ITV on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm.
