Plot

Rhaenys Targaryen's dramatic exit from King's Landing has set the stage for a full-scale conflict between the Greens and the Blacks, the two factions vying for control of the Iron Throne.

In the aftermath of the Green Council, which crowned Aegon II Targaryen as king, Rhaenyra Targaryen and her supporters are gathering their forces to challenge Aegon's claim. The season will follow the two sides as they clash in a series of bloody battles, alliances are formed and broken, and the fate of Westeros hangs in the balance.
